The Submitters are an online community of people who worship only God. They have only two shared religious rituals:
- The Contact Prayers (including the obligatory Friday Prayers).
- The Obligatory Charity.
How are the Submitters different from other religious groups?
- Unlike the Jews, the Submitters accept the Quran.
- Unlike the Christians, the Submitters do not believe that Jesus is God or part of a trinity which forms God.
- Unlike the Sunnis and Shias, the Submitters do not accept Hadith as a source of religion. They believe that Hadiths were written for historical purposes and were not meant to be used for religious purposes.
- Unlike the Quranists, the Submitters believe that the religious rituals (Salat, Zakat, Fasting, and Hajj) were passed down through prophet Abraham as a practical tradition from generation to generation until today, independently of the Quran, and independently of the Hadith. However, because the Submitters can find all the details of those rituals in the Quran, that still keeps them within the Quran alone doctrine.
How are the Submitters the same with other religious groups?
- Like the Jews, the Submitters believe in the Torah and other prophetic books.
- Like the Christians, the Submitters believe in the Gospel, and that Jesus is the Messiah and the word of God.
- Like the Sunnis and Shias, the Submitters believe that the Quran is the final scripture revealed by God, and that Muhammad was the final prophet sent by God.
- Like the Quranists, the Submitters believe that the Quran should be the only book used for religious conclusions.
Are the Submitters followers of a new religion?
No. The Submitters follow the oldest religion revealed by God. The religion is called Submission, and it was originally revealed through prophet Abraham, and the same religion was followed by all the other prophets like Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad.
If I am a Sunni, a Shia, or a Christian, or a Jew, do I have to change my religion to join the Submitters?
No. The Quran recognizes Submission as the religion from which Christianity, Judaism, Sunnism, and Shiism emerged as distorted modifications. So, technically, you would only need to do some minor, but effective, modification to your own religion.
How do I know this is true?
You can verify all this information by reading the Authorized English Translation of the Quran.
What if I don’t believe in the Quran?
You can verify that the Quran is God’s revelation by examining the Mathematical Miracle of the Quran.
